The much anticipated Examination in Public of Mid Devon’s Local Plan Review 2013-2033 commences today with Preliminary Hearings on Policies J27 (land at M5 Junction 27), and associated Policies SP2 (houses at Sampford Peverell, Higher Town) and TIV16 (Blundells Road, Tiverton.)
Inspector Paul Griffiths, has identified a number of Matters & Issues he wants to explore as he considers the soundness of the Plan. A ruling of soundness is essential before a Local Plan can be adopted.
Our team is attending with Eden Project on behalf of client Aviva Life & Pensions Ltd, who is promoting the step-change tourism and leisure scheme, Eden Westwood, for the land at J27.
Proceedings will run over two days, and commence at 10am today, in the Tiverton Hotel (Best Western).
