Mid Devon’s Local Plan took another step forward tonight as Full Council carried a motion to:
- Approve the recently completed Sustainability Appraisal Update and associated documents (ie the Local Plan review work which resulted in the postponement of the Plan Hearings last September)
- Schedule a six-week public consultation on the amendments recommended by the Update work, from the end of this month
- Instruct officers to invite the Inspector to recommence the examination of the Local Plan
Good news for our clients hoping to bring forward applications on sites allocated for various developments in the Plan, as soon as it is inspected and adopted.
