After learning her craft at PR and advertising agencies in London, New York and Sydney, Niki co-founded one of the most successful PR consultancies in the Australian IT&T industry. She was known for her ability to help senior executives at the likes of Sage, SAP and Sun Microsystems to develop, lead, resource and execute effective multi-national communications strategies. She also gained a reputation for the ability to translate complex technical texts into clear, concise, C’ level documents.
Now Tiverton-based, she develops and delivers brand positioning, PR and communications strategies for public, private and social enterprises.
As well as working on a broad range of project commissions, Niki holds the ongoing Communications Manager post for both land promoter Wessex Strategic, and Eden Westwood – the major tourism and leisure scheme proposed for M5 J27 for which we helped achieve Local Plan site allocation. For all her clients, she variously advises on strategy, liaises with political, business and community stakeholders, creates promotional materials, and organises and presents at events.
She is on the Board of Visit Devon, the deputy chair of REAL Devon and the former chair of Business Forum Mid Devon, and has been commissioned to deliver marketing and branding workshops for Devon County Council, Exeter Library, Business Information Point, DeVA and the Mid Devon Attractions Association.
Combined, these experiences have given her in-depth knowledge of South West regional dynamics and opportunities, plus extensive local authority, business and community contacts which can be drawn on to help clients get more ‘bang for buck’.
