Taunton is the South West’s first garden town and we were delighted to join a wide range of local stakeholders at the first Taunton Garden Town Visioning Event. The morning was facilitated by an excellent team of officers from Taunton Deane and West Somerset Councils who will use the multiple outputs from the day to guide the development of the garden town project.
It was great to be in a room with a group of people that are so passionate about the town and its future and so knowledgeable about the strands that need to be developed and delivered to make the project a success. Taunton’s articulation of what it means to be a garden town will shape the next 20 years and it is exciting to be able to contribute to the process.
